The uber consistent Landoftherisingsun has finished in the money in ten of his 11 starts. Out of the Trippi mare Dawn Rising, Saturday’s winner was a R900 000 buy from the 2023 National Yearling Sale.
Landoftherising hails from the second crop of his sire Danon Platina, with this crop also producing G3 Cape Classic winner Great Plains, Need For Speed Sprint winner Luhamba Phambili, and G2 Betway Spring Challenge runner up Wild At War.
